Rumored to be the 2nd clearest of Minnesota’s 10,000+ lakes - Kabekona boasts clear teal waters on warm sunny days. For those of us that know this lake - it’s a special place to us all. Spend a week or a weekend here - a world away.

With 9 beautiful cabins sitting just steps from the lake - you’ll feel the harmony of living so close to nature. From loons to waves lapping on the shore to eagles overhead - we truly love these cabins . Weekly and nightly stays available - 2 and 3 bedroom cabins.
From the playground to ping pong to a giant outstretched lawn to the 2000 square foot community lodge - there is plenty of space to explore, hideaway or play. Fishing and pontoon rentals, kayaks, canoes, paddleboat and stand-up paddleboards for those that love get out on the on water. A sandbar and 700 feet of beach for swimming - waterslide and all. Eight docks to fish from - and a lakeside community firepit to enjoy at the end of any day. Oh - and we even have a lakeside wood fired hot tub you can rent for the day. Something for everyone…or just a book and a beach chair works too.

At Kona Kona many generations of families have been visiting here for decades - and through this it has become a bit of tradition to share meals and cook meals up in the lodge. Our community kitchen along with the rest of the lodge is open to all guests of the resort - and it is a space to gather, play games, music and more.
